St. Neots Church, Cambridgeshire
Project Details:
We were contacted by the Parochial Church Council of Saint Neots Church in Cambridgeshire via their architects called, rather appropriately,
Archangel Architects Ltd.
They requested as follows;
This project is for the Listed church of St James in Little Paxton, where we are planning on changing their existing front door, from a single huge timber leaf to an aluminium/metal double leaf door. Door needs to be metal (aluminium ideally) or metal with timber core, we do not wish to have it in UPVC or Fully Timber framed.
As the shape is something very specific to the opening, the usual suppliers we work with do not make something this bespoke so we are looking for a specialist who is capable and willing to take this on.
We fitted the Gothic Arched Aluminium Doors with full height glass panels
As can be seen from the attached photographs.
We had many parishioners gathered watching as we fitted these doors. The whole congregation thanked us – a worthwhile and very interesting project.
